8th of March 2025: So here there are! Our National Medalists from National Masters Indoor Championships in Athlone! Althogether, Shannon Athletic Club secured 8 medals, including one Gold!
It was the largest contingent of adults to compete for Shannon AC at national level as the club continues to grow this section. On 8th of March 2025, there were 7 athletes competing in Athlone, across 12 events, in both Track and Field, with 3 of them making their National Championship debuts.

Medal for Race Walking: M45: Wojciech Wisniewski - Bronze
Also Luke Banks, our debutant in National Masters in 3000m Run, secured a fantastic, 4th place. This is a great achievemnet of him, giving him a good basis for furhter development
